Dr. Erzsébet Kárpáti specializes in capital markets, M&A transactions, wealth planning, and labour law.
Dr. Erzsébet Kárpáti earned her law degree from the Faculty of Law at Károli Gáspár University of the Reformed Church in 2005. She passed her Bar Exam in 2009, and she has been a member of the Budapest Bar Association since 2011. Erzsébet completed her LL.M. studies specialized in Labour Law & Employment, and she also holds an LL.M. degree in Investment, Corporate Governance, and Stock Exchange Law from Eötvös Loránd University. In 2025, she obtained a certified wealth planning expert qualification. Erzsébet started her professional career at international and Hungarian law firms. After absolving the bar exams, she worked as a legal counsel at a bank member of BNP Paribas Group. She first joined Gárdos Mosonyi Tomori Law Office as a senior associate between 2011 and 2015, then she was a senior attorney at law firms specializing in business law and trust asset management, during which she also worked as a registered internal auditor. In 2024, she rejoined our firm as a senior attorney. Erzsébet provides legal advisory services primarily in capital markets and M&A transactions, as well as labor, corporate, commercial law, and trust asset management matters. With over 15 years of professional experience, she handled licensing procedures for institutions supervised by the Hungarian National Bank, supported their daily operations, led legal due diligence projects, and managed complex M&A and labor law transactions, including related documentation. She has extensive experience in establishing trust asset management structures as well as setting up asset management foundations. In labor law, she regularly advises clients and has expertise in transactions involving collective redundancies. Erzsébet frequently conducts internal training for clients and lectures at programs organized by the International Training Center for Bankers. She is a member of the Budapest Bar Association and a certified wealth planning expert.
